Attila,

You "half" got me. I read up on it and it was re-discovered in China and Japan, but now it is not classified as a decidious conifer (it was at one time, then they came up with its very own classification). Dawn redwood is one. Larches are also decidious conifers along with bald cypress. Take that!!!

Just goes to show you, a tree that has been around in the same form for millions of years, changes often in the minds of man!!!

Take care,

John

I was considering selling these for $5 apiece!!! What an idiot I am!!! Now the price is $100,000 each. Anybody want one?

LMAO

on topic...

I was thinking about those diamonds as a drainage layer, does the story say if they were cut or uncut?

It was suggested I split off the debate about tree age into another thread.

So for the most part the argument (passionate debate?) is there, the humor is here.

Regards,

Matt

Well darn...It looked pretty good. Still styled and trimmed too

look how well it recovered after that nasty kid split it in half and Mr. Miyagi wrapped some duct tape around it...threw it in a bucket with no holes....and tossed in some dirt.

It really helped since it had ...."Strong Root"

Uhhhgh.....it was the 3rd Karate Kid. My coworkers get a kick out of talking about those movies with me. I developed a very cynical perception of the KK movies starting in my mid- twenties, ever strengthening each time they come on.

Dare I mention the fabled Crane technique? In all honesty Daniel san might have been able to win the tournament more easily just by clapping with one hand. Watching the fight scene in the second movie is like watching a cat corralling challenge on Fear Factor.
