Wire

I was at Micheal's today, a crafts store similar to A.C Moore. While wandering around waiting for my girlfriend to get what she needed I fould what looks like aluminum wire (doesnt say what it is made of). It was a 1/4 lb spool for $1.99. It was sold in the section for hanging things.

I ended up getting two sizes - 30 guage and 26 guage.

anyone ever use this type of wire?

Anyone know what the equivalent size would be in Bonsai wire? I've only seem Bonsai wire measured in mm (i assume diameter), not by guage.

Thanks!!

Tazzer, 26 gauge and especially 30 gauge has to be verging on telephone or CAD wire. I produce a 22 in copper and thats mighty fine. If this is truely what you say it is then it will be of little use. I suppose that would account for the price as well.

The fact that your not sure what its made of isn't a good sign either. Don't mean to rain on your parade.
