Where to Post?

There are a lot of dedicated forums here at bonsaiTALK, but, it isn't necessary to post in more than one area because your post is very likely to be seen no matter where you put it.

The system is intended to give some semblance of order to the tens of thousands of discussions archived here. You can think of most of these forums as working archives.

In general you're welcome to post to the General forum with notifications or general questions or the Show & Tell if you have photos to share. Beginners are encouraged to use the Beginner's forum or Dying Bonsai after looking it over to be sure the question hasn' t already been addressed.

At the discretion of the moderators, discussions may be combined or relocated, particularly when activity tapers off or the discussion is better suited to one of the subcategories. When a post is moved, a forwarding flag is left in the old forum for some time.

Some special forums are the following:

Contests
Test Zone - Area 51 (for trying out posts)
Articles for more structured learning
Opinion for some edgy bonsai discussions
