Okay the little sapling i have been growing upside down is doing fine!
I have allowed two large suckers to form at the base to thicken him up a bit and these are growing vertically. Apart from that the existing branches that were semi trained havent moved a lot. they have turned upwards towards the light but the suckers i believe are pulling most the nutrients. Will try get some pics up when it stops raining. BTW as a side note the tree is showing a marked decrease in vigour when compared with ome of its bretheren i have in similar sized pots. Most of the seedlings have doubled or tripled in size but this guy seems quite slow, hmm. |

Andy with the whole shebang upside down you may not be getting all the light it might want due to shading, possibly the source of lack of growing vigor.
