Okay the little sapling i have been growing upside down is doing fine!

I have allowed two large suckers to form at the base to thicken him up a bit and these are growing vertically. Apart from that the existing branches that were semi trained havent moved a lot. they have turned upwards towards the light but the suckers i believe are pulling most the nutrients. Will try get some pics up when it stops raining.

BTW as a side note the tree is showing a marked decrease in vigour when compared with ome of its bretheren i have in similar sized pots. Most of the seedlings have doubled or tripled in size but this guy seems quite slow, hmm.

Andy with the whole shebang upside down you may not be getting all the light it might want due to shading, possibly the source of lack of growing vigor.
