We are tying to figure out who is messing with the forum, and there are certain activities that trigger a response which imposes a temporary ban.
When Matt is able to get everything under control, we will re-evaluate the situation. Joanie

All,
Random banning seems to be going on at the moment due to some recent "unauthorised" access to control areas of the site. Please bear with us and report any strange activity you might see HERE.
