What a terrific product
Dear All:
I have been using a new product for most of the summer. It was designed for tropical flowering Bougainvillea, but I use it on all my flowering tropicals, and in my humble estimation the flowers have doubled, plus I am getting flowers on trees I never expected to see flowers For instance: I have a two year old Wrightia religosa grown from a cutting, that has had flowers during the summer. A Wrightia is not supposed to develop flowers until it is at least three years old. I'm including two pictures of my Bougainvillea 02. I took one picture last night and one this morning... The product is"Bougain", and is available at the Gulf stream store; http://gulfstreambonsai.org

Looks like a winner Carl. I have some fert just for bougains, but it's hard to find and we use it on my wife's bougains in the yard. What is the analysis on yours? The one I have is 17-7-10. The same company makes it for crape myrtle. That one is 10-15-9.

lagunamadre: I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THAT IT IS 6-7-10.
Normally I use Superbloom 12-55-6 for all my flowered trees. Five days a week I use a 1/4 teaspoon of Superbllom to a gallon of water in the last of three waterings each day. The "Bougain" is sprinkled on the top of the soil twice a month!!! I use both!!!

Interesting, I will look for it. My choice for bloomers is a product made here in Texas. Called "Rose Glo" by Maestro Gro in Salado, TX. I use it practically on everything it does a very nice job. I've made cakes and have used it sprinkled onto the soil and worked in, 6-8-4. It seems to give the plants more strength to weather tough times, like our horrific summers.
