I would definitely find more time for the activities i don't do as much as i want to because on bonsai. Mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and camping.

Since i'm an avid skier and nearly obessive (ok ok i am obsessed) with it, i almost put that. But it being a winter sport and all, i felt that it didn't interfere too much.

Ok

While not working on my trees, I fish and sail. It seems that the trees get a little time every day and the boats and fish get special days when time allows.

challenging myself by growing passiflora here without a greenhouse.

I grew some from seed 2 years ago, before we moved. They got quite big but because i left it a bit late before sowing, and the fact we were in a tiny flat with nowhere to put them they didnt make it.

are these the domestic passionflower, obtained from grocery store fruit? Those are the ones I tried, dead easy to sow. I put mine in a plastic bag inside a dark bag, which was then placed on top of the boiler for a little heat, they sprouted in no time!

Nope, mostly these are more exotic species such as P. 'Incarnata' and 'Incense'

Regards
