What Do You Have To Offer!

Al's post on war has gotten me to thinking of how best we could use each others knowledge to better help one another learn how to grow and keep good bonsai.

What I would like to see is for each of us to list the abilitys and techniques that we have succesfully learned. Now if we can determin who is best at that technique then we could refer new bies to the person who is best at the techniques that they want to learn.

Matt, you could possibly think of a professors page.

Al Keppler on stand making and design.

Andy Rutledge on the consepts of art and bonsai

Maby I shouldn't think so much!!

Bonsainut,
It shure does, when you sing to your trees you have to be close enough for them to hear you, which means you can see if they need watering at the same time.
Here is an example of what I am talking about.

PROPIGATION
I can succesfully reproduce plants by the folowing methods.
1. Seed
2. Cutting
3. Seperation
4. Root Cutting
5. Airlayering
6. Inarch Grafting
7. Side Grafting
8. Cleft Grafting

QUESTION

Which of the methods of propigation listed above will most often be used to create good Moma or Shohin bonsai?

Which of the techniques listed above will give you the best root structure?

Which will give you the best trunk line?

Glenn
