Wanted: Banners for HeyMikey Benefit Auction

If anyone would like to create a banner to advertise the HeyMikey Benefit Auction, that would be a great way to contribute.

The typical size is 468x60 pixels (width x height)

You can post your creation as an attachment here if you like or PM me for an email address (it's webmaster@____)

The general idea of the banner is to entice people to visit and bid on the benefit auction materials. Proceeds of the auction will be used to fund a memorial to Mike Manos as a benefit to the GSBF-Collection North.

Some kind of call to action like

Bid now! HeyMikey Memorial Auction would be one way to sum things up.

If you're looking for some inspiration, or didn't know Mike, you can peruse the HeyMikey thread Some of the materials likely to be listed are in this thread and include Japanese Maple, Quince, Trident, Shimpaku Juniper, Kingsville Box, Black Pine, Mugo Pine, Serissa, Oak, Rosemary, Spruce and a number of pots.

Regards,

Matt

Here's my contribution here . If you guys could let me know if it is visible and linking to the auction ok, I would be greatful, as I know there was a problem viewing it for some earlier. Its in SWF format so you may need Macromedia Flash player to view. If you dont have it you can download it for free here .

Many thanks all and get bidding when the time comes!!

All the best,

Aaron

Thanks guys, those both look great.

I should have the finishing touches on the first batch of auctions tomorrow, and the bidding will start Tuesday.

HeyMikey banner

Though I did not get to know Mike the way some of you did, I feel the loss,I only hope that can, in some way, manage to keep the posts here as possitive and lively as he would want us to. So the next time you get a hard critique or some one makes you feek negatively about your trees or your posts or even your photos (Walter-lol) or about the family here or yourself in any way,...pause before you retort, and ask yourself "What would Mikey have said?" then smile and remeber that we are all for the love of the same thing,...even if it's just a hobby to most of us, we deserve the love and respect of each other that Mike (Master Manos) gave in each of his posts or replies. Keep the love alive, hold his memory close, and NEVER EVER forget that even if only briefly, and only if on this one website we were blessed enough to know a man like Mike Manos. Hey, Mikey, thank you so much for everything.
