Walter Pall
I see the virtual board has pretty much died and most of that kind of activity takes place on the Gallery. I also see that Walter Pall is the moderator of the virtual gallery. Is there a way to maybe combine the two boards and get Walter involved on the Gallery? I really admire his work and advice and would love to see it added to the Gallery.
Thanks, Earl |

bonsai is not my hobby

Re: Walter Pall
Earl,
virtuals are great fun and one can learn a lot with them, either by doing or by looking. It takes skills and time though. It also takes a few more than one person. It just is not fun to do a one man show. You may have seen that I don't even do virtuals on the IBC gallery anymore. I have a few hundred trees and no help. Can you imagine how I spend my days? best regards Walter Pall

Re: Walter Pall
Walter,
Thanks for the response. I do understand about a one man show not being much fun. I can't understand why a few hundered trees would take any time at at! LOL. Best of times to you, Earl |

Re: Walter Pall
There's no doubt that virtual bonsai is a great winter sport. For those of us coming into spring, it's hard to find the time to post at all.
Regards, Matt

YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME
|
Re: Walter Pall
As we read this forum we see posts from the newest of new to the Art of Bonsai to the seasoned Veteran to the Professional. All with something to say and to learn.
I as a novice have difficulty with my organizational skills with regard to my trees. It is beyond my ability to understand how there are those who tend to SEVERAL HUNDRED trees. They still find the time to come on this and other forums and give a thought or two regarding an issue. It most be remembered that at the time those of us with questions have the most need, those of us with the answers are most busy! I for one appreciate the help of all who offer. I only suggest that if you are giving advise, let it be known from what level of knowlege you come. You may have learned something from a book or from a demo and can share, even as a beginner. Just let us know so we can weigh your advise and act accordingly.
