Two different flower colors on a Crepe Mrytle?

I have been working with crepe myrtles for only a short time, but in this short time i have never seen a single myrtle with 2 different flower colors. This myrtle is a Pink Velour and is producing pink flowers, yet on one branch I see white flowers as well!
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how common is it.(I am sure I have not discovered a new hybrid so excuse my excitment .

Is there a noticably grafted branch? I have a rose bush that produces 2 different roses but had to graft to get it to do it. But even then it only produces one type on individual branches. Cant tell from the pics. Are they on the same branch?

No grafts at all and yes they are on the same branch in the same cluster of flowers.

I've seen it on standard landscape trees in my area. Don't really know why they mutate like that. It may be a nice feature for a bonsai, similar to a quince with several colors of blooms.

It could be a sport. Lucky! I think it'll look nice.
