Pretty nice tree, has potential. The pot is pretty as well, but you might think of using the pot for another tree, a semi-cascade, or you might even turn this tree into a semicascade. Keep us posted.

Diospyros

It looks very much like a D Whyteana Bladder-nut indigenous to South Africa and Zambia

G'day ForSure,

Saw that one in Google, alas leaf shape is wrong, on my tree they're very blunt ended, nice try and I thank you for it.

Regards,
Nigel

Well Folks, must say I'm surprised, had hoped that there'd be somone out there that might know this terrific little tree, a real beaut, keeping him indoors for the time being, and hasn't lost a single leaf, real bright and sassy!

Still hoping, spent days going thru Google, not even a whisper, the foliage is so extraordinary....

Best wishes,
Nigel

Be patient, Nigel. Lots of folks are off for the holidays. You might get an opinion or two when things get back to normal next week.

The foliage looks a lot like good 'ol fukien tea, but the bark seems way off.

G'day Joanie,

YEP, of course you're right, I probably do sound a tad impatient, sorry for that, but just can't seem to be able to understand why I can't find anything about my little beaut' of a tree.

C Ya Later Lady,

Best regards,
Nigel

G'day all,

Here's a pic of the new foliage bursting out, maybe this might trigger off someone's mind.
