On The Topic Of Broom's
While there are a few posts on Brooms on the forum, it seems like a fine time to pose a question/request that I've been wondering about.
I did a web search for good directions on making a Broom style. I think that I understand the basics, V cut, wrap the top to prevent bulging, wait until new stems grow etc., but I'm looking for something a bit more. None of the sites I saw showed very appealing finished products, nor were the directions that clear. It would be great if some of the more experienced artists here could give thier comments on the GENERAL PROCESS, special TRICKS they've learned, PITFALLS to watch out for and whatever else you find important. This can include the Formal and Informal Brooms, and which you find better/easier to develop. Thanks All! ~Justin |
