I've found a lot of acorns buried in my pots. Often when they start to become mighty (tiny) oaks. I guess maybe your squirrels are stashing goodies also. Or looking for them.

Or, yeah, just being a pain.

my moss looks beautiful!! Each piece maticulously placed and wired down....then they come in and tear it all up!! At least it isn't a cat or dog relieving themselves on it.
