Something new everyday

Guess it is time to live and learn. The weather service put out a notice that my area had a Gravity wave high wind event on Friday night.

That is a new term to me. Hope none of my trees either blew away or got sucked into the ground ;o)

Guess I had better figure out just what the heck a gravity wave is

Hey Ron......

I have been watching the TV show "Surface" so I know all about them little lizard guys that are swimming in the water all around Wilmington....

..... but GRAVITY waves? Dear Lord! Best ya'll pack up the old lady, the trees and the dog and get the hell out of Summerville. I wouldn't want a fine fella like you sucked down a hole into the center of the earth.

Randy

PS... in last weeks episode they had a Tsunami that made it all the way to Summerville. Flooded that big Presbyterian church downtown all the way up to the bell tower.

Still not exactly sure what a gravity wave is. Made a mistake setting down to watch the 6 o’clock news. They told me that we had one but forgot to tell me what one looks or feels like ;o)

I’ll have to trust them to tell me if I ever experience one again

Are you trying to cloud my mind with knowledge ;o)
Actually if it hadn't been on the news I would not have even known that there was one. Guess it is a very localized thing. I am just outside Charleston but far enough I guess
