bonsai is not my hobby

And this was a couple af days later.
It is good practice to just form the thicker branches and then leave the tree alone for a year. This is true for valuable collected trees and especially for spruce. |

This morning it looked like this.
Now further refinement continues. The big question will be whether the lower right branhc will go or whether it will be the main feature of the tree. Two totally different concepts. We'll see. opinions? best regards Walter Pall |

Hi Walter,
Another possibility (losing the entire apex and rotating about 7 degrees counterclockwise). Best regards, Carl

This is version two. It is just a bit bent too much. But in order to eventually keep the desired shape it must be slightly exaggerated.
Now which version is better? best regards Walter Pall Last edited by Walter_Pall : 15-Jul-2003 at 08:10 AM. |

Version two looks more balanced, if like you say it is more exaggerated than the plan for the finished version.
Version one looks on the verge of toppling after looking at version 2.
