Scary

On the second of March I was asked to do a demo for a club in Florida. Public demonstrations are always the scariest things. Just thought I would share a couple of pictures of what makes them so scary.
Here is what it looks like from the speakers podium. Nerve wracking isn't it ;o)

Well Ron,
I would say maybe it would help to use the old saying of imagining them all in their underwear but that might be just as scary!

I sure don't envy you having to speak to large crowds like that.

Actually everyone there was kind to me. It was a lot of fun. They were a pretty laid back crowd.
Most bonsai people are like that.
I was asked to make a potential bonsai from a juniper not a finished work.
Here is what I started off with

And here is what I ended up with.
In June it will be auctioned off. I'll go back down there then and do a one on one workshop with the tree and person that has the winning bid. Sort of a packaged deal.
A slightly different program but it seemed to be well received.

I don't see what you are worried about, it looks to me like "if you can walk you could outrun everyone in the room".
shure hope that you had fun.

Ron,
Great job with the demo tree! That sounds like a great idea of getting a one on one with you if they had the winning bid!
