Rocky Mtn Juniper In California
Does anyone in California (specifically the San Francisco Bay Area) have experience growing and keeping collected Rocky Mountain Juniper bonsai? Do you give them any special care, given the big difference between the climate in their native habitat and that of central California? (Of course I'd like to hear from people who have had success at this, but stories of failures would be interesting and informative too.)
I'd like to find out anything I can about the care of collected junipers in general -- both when they are newly collected and when they are established bonsai. (I have read John Naka's texts on the subject.) Thanks very much. riprap
