Repotting

Live in South Louisiana, with nights running in the 50s and highs in the 80s. Can I still repot some of my bonsais? I have a few Junipers that need to be potted, as well as Fukien teas and Ficus nerifolias. What about a Texas ebony? If necessar, I could just repot them and not do much root pruning. I also have a Black olive that is busting out with new growth after I thought it had died this winter. However, it has been in the same pot for 2-3 years and could use some new soil. Would that one make the transition?

Thanks

I can't really say for sure on the Juniper . . . but all of your tropicals can safely be repotted pretty much at any time of year. I repot most of my indoor tree's in early summer after they have flushed out their spring growth spurt.

As for the olive, I would wait until growth slows a bit and then repot. If you must do it now, then slip it out of the old pot, rough up the edges of the root ball a bit and slip it into a bigger pot with fresh soil.
