First off........ I have never attempted bonsai, untill now.
Secondly, I just purchased some japanese maple seeds, do I need to refrigerate the seeds, and if so , for how long?

For someone new to bonsai you really need to consider getting some actually trees to work on. Planting seeds is a very slow process and will be a good job for the future. Get your hands on some cheap material, join a club, read books and try out different techniques on your trees.
