Reality Check

I knew I'd been spending a lot of time on here recently, but...

Last night at about 10:30pm Mrs TB came upstairs to where the computer is. All she said was "you've been on that all evening" and gave me a little look.

I then realised that I had not watered my trees, so I said that "I'm just going to do the watering". She said "can you take that bag of stuff by the back door out with you". She meant that bag of bonsai stuff from the garden centre that I bought last weekend, intending to get busy with after work all this week.

So I guess it is time to get my priorities sorted. Less time talking, more time doing.

Regards,

Chris.

Kind of like a post i saw a few years back on a guitar discussion board (I'm also a musician). It was things that a pro wanted to impart to novice guitar players ... things like string choices, etc. The last of his advice was ... "Get off the d*mn computer, turn off the TV, pick up your guitar and play!" My bonsai mentor doesn't post to message boards and answers emails about twice a week because he's too busy with his trees. BTW i'm giving myself advice here !!

Look closely! Are you sure she wasn't referring to that bag containing your toothbrush, pillow and Lord of the Rings action figures?

Yeah right now at my novice stage, my gorgeous hispanic girlfriend gets all the attention she needs. "Action figure," men were born with action figures.
