persimmon
This is a fussy tree, medium difficulty, but if it will live for you and produce fruit you can be hooked for life.
Roots are spindly and black with little ramification. This tree will servive in a bonsai container and produce fruit but will not really grow well in a container. I suggest that if it is not yet the size that you are looking for then into a sunny spot in the garden or into a fifteen gallon growing container. The tree can be propigated from root cutting's. In the bonsai container the tree likes to be fertalized and moist but not wet so dry it out a little between waterings, full sun, have fun. Glenn
