Yeah I like this idea aswell,better than mine even..it's more 1/1 hands on type of thing.It could be setup like a team vs. team for the gold type of thing.

It looks as though the members here have spoken and we will be having a styling contest like the previous ones. The re-styling contest came in second and we will plan one for the near future also.

There were many good ideas presented here and they will give us many contests in the future. Thanks to all of you who took the time to voice your thoughts.

I'd be happy to, but your public profile says you've been in bonsai for 5 years. Maybe you're not a novice anymore. The picture you posted seems to show non-novice bonsai.

Hey Wes (redpine),
I taught a class session in Horticulture last spring on Bonsai. Would have to go through Hort, see if one of the faculty (Maybe Jon Lindstrom) would take "responsibility" for the class- that means make sure that you aren't doing something nefarious. John

Well I've be serious about bonsai for three years. Got the bug, you know.
And alway willing to learn more.
Do you mean my avatar? That is a tree that is still at a bonsai nursey, not mine.
