There has been alot of talk recently about Bonsaial1's great contests and the realitivly low turn out rate.
In an effort to involve a larger audience for future contests I'm taking a poll to ask people why they did not enter the contest. Please select all that apply. !! Yea, I had a thread for my contest entry, but it died in the fire, so I never got a chance to repost it. Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Reasons...
If I can be honest here (without Al personally attacking me... just kidding!!!)
1. (Main reason) I didn't think I'd have a real chance against only having been in bonsai for less than 2 years... 2. Yo no tengo uno camera digital o scanner...

Got a very nice pine via the club for less than $20. A beauty... Styled and repotted it. It was even more beautiful. I was sure to win the contest with it. What tree will be looking the best on Al's stand ? Wait a minute... shouldn't I have made a "before" picture ?? Aarghhhhhh...
Maybe it's better this way. Half of it's branches died. Me and pines. Never again. René |
