Please help to ID Larix or Bald Cypress

Yesterday I've bought a tree. "Larix kaempferi" was written on the label. I've looked through a lot of sites and pictures and it more looks like bald cypress.
Unfortunatelly I've not seen japanese larix or bald cypress in life and it is too difficult to id the tree just looking on a picture.
What is your opinion - who is it?
In additiion - the leaves (or needles?) are very soft.

Doesn't look like a larch. I'd say either bald cypress or dawn redwood, from the foliage.

Neither.

I'm about 95% sure it's Dawn Redwood, Metasequoia glyptostroboides. Bald Cypress, Taxodium distichum has leaflets that are ALTERNATE to each other. These appear to be clearly opposite. Slight chance it is a Redwood, Sequoia sempervirens, but the foliage doesn't look right and it isn't soft.

BrianBay9, thank you very much for making me trust Brent!
It's really looks like Metasequoia, the only reason to doubt is the price - 9 $ . Even Larix can't cost this money in Moscow.
Thank you all for the help. And two more questions:
1. The tree is not in a best health - the branches on the top a little bit hung and needles fall also a little. Do I have any chances to save the tree?
2. Do you think this specimen and this tree particularly is worse to work for bonsai?
Thanks a lot.

Dawn redwood is a very hardy tree. They are very vigorous growers and are kin to the Bald Cypress and giant Redwoods of Cal.

Here's a link to care instructions:
