pine prospects (Embedded Pics Warning)
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i am torn between these 2 pines. they are both very nice the second one is a more traditional formal upright. both trunks are a little thicker than a coke can. let me know what you think. i contacted miami tropical bonsai here in miami and its thier opinion that black pine are one of the only pines that do well in south florida. what do you think. thanks |

Personally I like the one in the first picture, the structure of the tree is more easily distinguished, but the other has a very old feel to it.

Some great choices. I would choose the second one because it is hard to find good formal uprights. I like the first one except for the straight branch on the left side.

I would like to see both up close and personal...however, it would help to see more of the above the first branch...
Nice trees...both. Well, most likely...spectacular... Pat

You are in South Florida?
I don't have my glasses on, but isn't the first tree a white pine? John
