Pictures Confused?

I'm seeing alot of the macro pictures in place of trees in Walter's threads.

Has Walter grown an odd sense of humor or is the sight confused as to which picture to use?

I am also finding problems like this. There are pictures that shouldn't belong in threads and are appearing. I figured that I had to hit the refresh to get the new pictures loaded. Could be an issue from when the databases went down. Maybe Matt could help.

sounds like you guys need to empty your temporary internet files folder. If you're using IE, click tools > internet options > delete files. That should sort it.

Regards,

TB

Yes, I think that deleting temporary files will do it. Refreshing the page might also.

Normally, when you browse the web, files and photos are stored on your hard disk automatically by your browser. The next time a file of that same name is required, your computer can save some time by calling it up from local memory rather than transferring it over the Internet. Now after the database recovery, the forum is probably reusing some of the names that the older pictures had, and the result is that your computer is fooled a bit into calling up the wrong photos.

That's my guess at least.

Regards,

Matt
