Picture Hacking?

Hello,

I just realized that whenever I attempt to click on any of the photos above the forum page, I am led to a page saying that the page was hacked by 'CagS' and that 'h4ck3r.us was here!' Is anyone else experiencing this? Just yesterday it worked fine but now all those photos have been 'hacked'. However, I am not having any problems opening the photo attachments in posts. I hope nobody is messing with our site. It was bad enough having some of the other forums down.

thanks,

bonsaimeister

I see the same thing! Somebody is out to cause trouble. To quote an old curse, "may the fleas of 10,000 camels infest their armpits". Or maybe something worse than that.
Moderators, check it out.

Yes! The gallery page and the few random photos above the forum page. What has this world come to! A bonsai forum of all places, and all they get out of it is causing us trouble. The bullies should look into something worth their time. Hopefully the pics are not gone. They are a great reference and in some cases, the only documentation of some great trees.

I'd be less worried about the photos themselves and more about the fact that someone is hijacking and redirecting traffic from the forum to another site. This is a good way to infect others with malware as well as just be plain annoying.

If anyone knows who to contact to address this, now would be a good time. I would hate to see the good people of this forum subject to the malicious acts of others. I dont know if the moderators would know who to contact, but this should be addressed before things get any worse.

In the meantime please be mindful of what is going on within the site, often times these redirects can be used to infect pc's that connect to the site so everyone should browse with caution......

Been through this before. Number one....don't click on the gallery section at all. It's only human nature to check it out but I would advise against it. Number two....the only person who can take care of this matter is Matt. A lot of sick people out there who love to do these kinds of malicious acts. Don't give them the means or satisfaction to spread it about! Stay away from it until Matt can clear the matter up.

Best, Phil
