That did it a google search gave heaps of info.
http://www.rosebay.org/chapterweb/r...ath_houses.html I hope the idea of one sided lath house like Wolfgangs will do the job for me. Also maybe I can modify the shade house by getting rid of the shade cloth and replacing with slates of wood.

It looks like Wolfgang's area has a highest temp of 37 deg celcious wich is at least 8 less than us.
This is what gets me though. I see the trees at the bonsai nursery's out in full sun. I gatherd that the temps were they are(350 km away) had a slightly different climate. I am assured by Ray Nesci this is not my problem. but then again he grows beech and states it is too hot here for them? I often use the same soil as Ray because I buy it off him. I tried the shade house this year and ended up worse than ever. It seems the more I try the worse it gets. Surley if Ray can grow his in full sun I should be able to grow mine in dappled shade. I will try a few different soil mixes again next year. I prefer a soil mix that can be over watered, the one that stays wet for a few days in hot weather tends to catch me out. I would be concerned that spag moss would cause this problem. I hope I can get it next year. Thanks for all the responses, out of confusion will eventually come clarity.
