Orchid Identification

hi, I got an orchid from a lady that my mom works with because she doesn't know how to take care of it. However, I don't either because I have no clue what species it is.

I was hoping you guys could identify this orchid and tell me some basic care information.

thanks

PS I know that this is a bonsai forum and not an orchid forum but they're sort of related

orhcid types, not specific names, are a sometimes a little easier to identify by their leaves. at least for me they are. Phalaenopsis (Moth Orchid) and dendrobium type orchids are the ones that home depot type stores sell and their care is relatively the same and simple. orchids have come a long way in their development for the masses and some can manage in a fairly low humidity home. google search these and you'll find identification and care instructions galore.
here's a link to an orchid place near me which i like -

Matt, you can remove the link if it's inappropriate to use here.

good luck.
