"by the way Walter, do you know Karl (Check our Show and Tell and look at some od his stuff)"
Kristopher, what a question! Sure do I kow Karl, another Austrian, the Virtual King or was it King of Virtuals. We see each other a few times a year. He has come to all my late summer parties with his lovely wife. best regards Walter Pall |

bonsai is not my hobby
|
"My concern is the nebari does not look very appealing,"
Kristopher, yes indeed. This is the only real problem of this tree in the long run. Experience tells me that it is basically going to stay that way. This will keep this larch from becoming a very important bonsai forever. But so what! best regards Walter Pall |

YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME
|
Walter, thank you for bringing the images of this tree to us. I must say I am not there .....yet. I did not see any potential in the tree in the first picture. If I came across it in the wild I would have left it.
This thread is another lesson to be learned, look... and look carefully, at what is before you. I can not say I will ever become the artist I would like to be, but perhaps I will become what I can be!
