Off Topic Spring Wake Up Call

What is normally a spring fed feeder to a river nearby, is now a raging river of its own. This is my annual "Hey....get off your butt its Spring wake up call"

This runs directly through the midsection of our farm. Between the barn and the pastures. Luckily we have about five acres to the west (right of picture) that are still accessible.

I have many pines that are of need to be transplanted too, and these are directly on the other side of this picture. Three are going into growing boxes, the rest to my parents property and others to front of my property.

Fun eh?

Paul

I see you are from Lake County, MN. I was up your way about a year ago near Isabella, just nortwest of Silver Bay. I helped my truck driver friend bring a trailer up to a guy who bought 180 acres there. There where trout streams running through the rolling property. It was awesome! I am sure by now you take some of the scenery for granted, but for me it looked like heaven. There is no way I could handle the long winters there though. All the best.

Yes, I am ever so slowly moving my way up the North Shore. I had property outside of Duluth for a few years. Loved driving up the shore and ultimately found this farm outside Two Harbors. It it were not for my job in Duluth, I would move even further up. The country as you have said is very beautiful. I do not take it for granted, I am in awe of it everyday.
