Off Topic....neat Link To Aerial Photos

Thought maybe some of you are as bored as I am. It takes some time to zoom down but you can get aerial views from the early 90's of just about anywhere the USGS did topo maps. I got a shot of my farm from 1992.

terraserver

good luck and let me know what ya think or if it worked.

http://www.mapquest.com used to have an aerial photos tab in their city map & driving direction features. You used to be able to click over from an address and city map right to the aerial photo of the site. I didn't realize until you mentioned this that it's not active any longer.

Regards,

Matt

That TerraServer site is neat and over the last two years I think I've looked up everything I could think of!
Speaking of ariel views,
here's one someone sent me after our nifty blackout last summer. Look at that big black hole in the eastern USA!!

Nice stuff. I looked at the northern Los Angeles area. The photos happened to be from June 1994, five months after the Northridge earthquake. It's interesting to see all the damage. Here's the I-5/14 interchange:

Pretty cool stuff. I was able to zoom all the way in and find my house in 1995.
