Yes thank you Ron for including us in your wonderful gesture.

Regarding rep points, ignorance was bliss

Ok, I admit it, I'm a blonde...... I have been happily lurking around on this website for about a year, posting here and there, learning, enjoying things, totally unaware of rep points or how to give or get them. Never noticed those little green things below everyone's name on their posts until two threads about rep points were started on here. Even then, I didn't really give it much thought. It never occurred to me to wonder where I got that little green thing. For all I knew, everyone got one to start with and then maybe it was "you give me a good rep and I give you a good rep"... I truly never gave it much thought....until tonight. I read Flybri's post about the good lady getting flowers and I thought I would give a rep to Ron Martin. That was so sweet of him to organize this and for the others to join in.

Not having a clue how to give an RP, I started clicking around and finally saw up in the green tool bar across the top of the page, "User CP" which took me to a page that listed all the rep points I had been given and for the most part, who gave them, comments, etc.....

First, to everyone who left a comment about a post, I just saw the comments a few minutes ago and wasn't ignoring you.....really.
I have no idea how to reciprocate....

All I have ever done on here was to hang out and read posts that look like they will interest me, post here and there if I think I can help and that is pretty much it. And I still have no idea how to give rep points or leave comments on a post. This IS very embarrassing! I sincerely hope I haven't hurt anyone's feelings.
ignorance was bliss.........

Next to that little green bar is a set of white scales. Go to Ron's post and click on his scales, this will allow you to give him some rep. He deserves it, that was a nice gesture.
