New to your board...just saying HI

Hi everyone,
I'm new to your board and someone returning to the art of Bonsai trees.
I tried once, unsuccessfully about ten years ago to grow a Juniper Procumbens Nana Bonsai tree, but I did not do well, and before I actually killed off the tree, I gave it to a friend as a gift.
I recently have decided to get back into the Bonsai tree art.

Something on interest to anyone in the Ohio area is that some of the Home Depot stores in the area now sell some Bonsai trees in various different species of tree. I personally like the Junipers, which is what got me interested into the Bonsai trees again. I purchased two Juniper Procumbens Nana trees. One of which I think is about 3 years old and the other is about 5 years. I am ballparking their age by the size of the trees.
Both have already been groomed somewhat and both came with some preliminary wiring done to them to coach their growth.
When or if I can figure out a way to download some pics, I will post the pictures of both of them.

Anyway, hello.
I will probably spend a great deal of time over in the beginners forum, but I will check out all the forums regularly.
Again, Hello.

Abcutter, welcome. This is a very friendly and helpful group. You can get a lot of info here. You may want to sign your posts with your location. This board is heavy into West Coast members. Now do not get me wrong... everyone is helpful and interesting. It is just a good thing to remember your growing zone and the zone of the person giving the advise....Just the thoughts of this member from zone 5a/6b New York State....right here in the North East!!!Jay
