New Tree, New House

Well, things have been pretty hectic with the move in to the new house. In the middle of the move was my birthday, and my lovely wife chipped in with Brent to get me a very nice cork bark oak from his collection.

Here's a pic of the tree where it gets to enjoy the view from our deck. I'll post some more shots of the tree later this weekend, so you can see some of the details.

Bob,
Congrats on the move, and a belated happy Birthday to you. Just finished moving myself, I feel your pain. Great view you have, and congrats on the house, may you two have every happiness. Nice tree silhouette, btw.

Scott

Funny you should ask about the jacuzi, sauce, because here it is with my tree posing on it so you can see all the sides.

First pic is the front, second is the another possible front, about 15 degrees counterclockwise from the other front.

Next pic is the back, and then the side. As you can see, it's leaning a little backward, this will have to be corrected at the next repot.

Any comments, suggestions?

Your wife and Brent certainly chose a nice present for you. FWIW I like your first front. What are the dimensions of the tree? I just knew with a deck and that view there had to be a jacuzzi. What a relaxing way to wind down after a day at work!! I just caught my earlier mistake and realized it's not an elm but an oak, oops.

Bob, you are fortunate, not lucky. Congratulations on your hard work to attain the career, family, and friends that you have. I look forward to seeing you again and also to seeing progress with the tree.
