New Popups
Just wondering if any one is having troubles with popup adds on the forum.
I can't seem to get to any thread without getting closed out by one large add. is it just me or is anyone else having troubles. Please let me know by pm as this seems to be the only place that I can get to. glenn

we don't have any popup ads here at bonsaiTALK, (or pop-under ads either) so if you are receiving them, your computer was probably infected with some kind of spyware from another website you visited, perhaps unintentionally.
You should download and run a good spyware detection program. One such program is Spybot Search & Destroy, which you can find as freeware here: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/fi...id,22262,00.asp Another is adaware by lavasoft. I would give you a link, but their website always comes up in Japanese for me, for some reason. Spybot is better anyway. Regards, Matt

spybot s and d was good, but i have found adaware 6 to work more effectively.

Thanks all.
I am thinking that adaware has taken care of the problem. The newer add programs are becoming dificult to get rid of and they are very disruptive. glenn

spyware
I use adware, spybot - search and destroy and spyware blaster. It was recommended by a web site that offers help to anyone having problems. They will only offer help after you have downloaded and run this combination of programs .
