New Moderator Group

Greetings, bonsaiTALKers,

Beginning this coming week I will be returning to full-time employment as a medical device engineer. In the past I have enjoyed the opportunity to be able to devote a great deal of time to bonsaiTALK, but my new responsibilities will definitely impact my ability to contribute directly, particularly during the weekday hours.

Toward that end, we've expanded the moderator group, and I am happy to announce that several bonsaiTALK members have agreed to step forward and head up specific sections of the forum. Please join me in welcoming the new moderators and assisting this group in in making this transition as smooth as possible.

The current forum responsibilities are designated as follows:
  1. Ian_Homer - continues as co-moderator of ATM and now co-moderator of the Main & General Forums
  2. FlyBri, now co-moderator of the Main & General Forums
  3. Robert continues as moderator of the Midori forum
  4. Pootsie - now moderator of the Misc Areas, co-moderator of Best of bonsaiTALK
  5. Joanie - now moderator of the Ask Dr. Bonsai areas, co-moderator of Best of bonsaiTALK
You can read a little more about our moderators, or reach them via PM using the bonsaiTALK Staff link at the bottom of each page..

Regards,

Matt

I think Carl has been very busy, but I am not sure. I sent him an email about a month ago but didn't hear back. We'll probably need to add another Gallery moderator in the near term. In the meantime, everyone can help by using the REPORT feature to report photos that don't fit (out of focus, not in bonsai pots, multiple views of the same tree, etc).

That original post is a little out of date, too. Walter is no longer moderating ATM, for example.

Regards,

Matt

Was a little too distracting to see Ron's name everytime I opened the site. Sorry, John

John, you might want to start using the "New Posts" button instead. It only brings up posts that you haven't read yet. Then you won't see everything all of the time.

I agree about Ron's name.... sigh.
