Was that little shimpy from Mas Ishii? Very nice ,indeed. I saw you at the bonsai a thon on sat. Of course you didnt know me, but you seemed to have disapped before we could meet. I got suckered into making the BBQ hamburgers so was called away. O well next time. ooooogot to go hammburrrrgerrrrrrrrrssss........

HeyNut, If you saw me you should have yelled. I would follow you to the hamburgers anyday. No, the shimpy was bought from Kim's.
I did notice the closer I got to the desert, that all the real estate signs, (and there were plenty), had kanji on them. I dodn't know if it was Japanese, Chinese, or Hmong. But every sign and business had the kanji on them. When I got to Phelan, I saw the same thing. I expect that they started to buy property out that way because it was cheap, then a small community of chinese or whatever grew to the point it is now. That area definatly has an Asian influance though.
