Need Stock

I am looking for a source for Kinsai or Ko Kinsai Azaleas. I have tried the search engines , but the only place I found that sellls them does not ship and I am 3000 miles away. Does anyone know where I can find them. I am not looking for finished bonsai but rather a few starters or just stock plants. I had purchased from Brussells before but he no longer carries them. Thanks in advance.

this site doesn't have kinsai, but perhaps you can view the other varieties and find something else?

Dear Bobby,

Unfortunately although you did kindly tell us the distance to one place where you don't live, you did not uniquely identify it in space from any other place where you don't live.

Knowing a single point you're 3000 miles away from, we can use Euclidian geometry to determine a probability function that will pinpoint your approximate location about that point to a circumference of 33.174 million feet.

If you can provide distance data on two separate locations where you don't live, we can reduce that to two unique points on the line.

Telling us three places that you don't live, but that you are equidistant from, that lie at approximately the same altitude would pretty much guarantee an accurate triangulation on a point where you might in fact reside.

Then you might get some meaningful advice.

Regards,

Matt

Try Nuccio's in Altadena, California (near Los Angeles). They have over 300 azalea varieties, about 100 satsuki, and they ship. Their catalog lists Kinsai, but last year, they ran out of stock. If they don't have it, they may have something similar.

Nuccio's Nurseries
3555 Chaney Trail
Altadena, CA 91001

BTW, if anyone is in the area April to May, visit this nursery. Absolutely amazing! I go there every year, get all inspired, buy some stock, and proceed to kill them in the summer

Good luck.

Yes they do. In time however you will grow thick bark that will be admired by all. Stay with it and learn to appreciate the high level of knowledge that is to be found here (not referring to myself). Sarcasim, you will find, is a common means of letting you know that you need more info in your post, less info, different thread for what you are saying or asking, etc. Don't take it personally (as I did too often at first) and welcome.

Regards,
Mark

I moved (last week) to a small town close to Valdosta Ga. I did NOT give a location earlier because I KNEW I was moving this month. Still wanting some stock if anyone has a source. Thanks in advance.
