Need Ideas For Pot

I have this container (tree no longer in it) and I'm wondering what type of tree or style might be suitable to put in it. I think it's too big for shohin, but maybe I'm just too new at this and it's fine for that.

What would you use it for?

I think you will just have to wait around for a suitable tree, you'll know it when you see it, its very difficult to say a specific style of tree that would fit a pot. However a Red Maple might look nice because of the contrast between the foliage and the colour of the pot.

Cheers
Rowan

Save the pot until you need it for a tree someday. I get my trees first, then decide on the pot. Its hard enough to get good stock as it is, let alone trying to match good stock to a pre owned pot. Ken
