Thanks everyone for the nice replies and encouragement.

You are correct, it looks like a corragated box but it is somewhat stiffer than that. And I don't really have to worry too much about a lot of snow in these parts. (Although we did get 13 inches here back in '81, or was it '82?) But I believe that the angle of the roof and the slickness of the plastic would help in the shedding of moderate snow load.


Last night the low temperatue got down to 34 degree F and inside the greenhouse only reached 59 degrees F. (gotta love it!)

I would have guess if there was more support in the roof structure that it may be able to withstand more weight. What do some of you use for your greenhouse's in our northern snow blowing climates. As we all know (that is the snow belt people) snow can be real heavy at time.

What would be the best sheeting to use in a northern area greenhouse?
