Monkey Poles update

Here are the pics of my monkey pole garden project...

I expanded my bonsai display area into what was previously a wasteland of weeds on one side of my house.

The first pic are of the first poles in place.

The rest of the pictures are of the project nearly completed. So far, I've used about 40 bags of pea gravel to cover the area and I still need about 10 more!

Please ignore the ugly white picked fence (it is a temporary barrier to keep my pooch from marking new territory).

Thanks!

Ralph, we do get some ocassional hail. I've lived here 2 years and I've seen two hail storms. Got enough time to bring most of my trees indoors and no damage occurred. Snow has happened twice in 30 years! Last snowstorm was on X-mas day last year (somebody was actually selling a Corpus Christi snowball on E-bay).

My next project will be a fence and a gate for the little courtyard.
