Miniature hosta

Mine have small brown dried tips on the leaves. Any clue as to why? Thanks.

This sounds like an environmental problem..too much fertilizer may cause this as well as not keeping the soil moist. Fertilized lately or did the hosta dry out a bit? If you are using them as a companion planting I’ve found that they definitely need to be kept more moist than the plants in the ground.

Do you remember what the variety is that you are working with?

If I saw the name I'd probably remember it. Might have been Petite something or other. Its in a tray of some Mondo grass. Hasn't really had a chance to dry out completely. Maybe it just need more water. I know my regular hostas love water. Thanks.

Too much sun can burn hosta leaves, as well, particularly those certain hostas with more white or yellow in their leaves. A picture is always helpful.

Generally under or over watering and too much sun. Put them in a shady spot and let them get a little droopy before watering.
