Minerals on pots
Hello - I'm seeking a little advice. I live in Kentucky.....we have pretty hard water here - lots and lots of calcium in the water due to the base rock present in the region.
The calcium is accumulating on the edge of the pots. I can scrape most of it off, but not all of it by hand. I use the back of a pair of tweezers. Any idea on how I can stop it? I don't really have a good way to collect rain water yet...I'm going to work on that this winter. I know vinegar will disolve the minerals, but will it harm my trees? Robbie |
