Lawn mower needed!

Well, I had resisted to take care of my garden by my own (It's a hard work and I have not too much time), well, so my mom hired a gardener to cut the grass, so, I went to the university, when I came back, it was late at night, but I knew there was something wrong with my bonsais... (paternal instinct)

So, I started checking all of my seedlings and trees, well, I couldn't see much, but today in the morning.... I was petrified!!!!!! The guy took one of my seedlings bottles (or so I think) then, then cutted some wires in one of my azaleas (Remember Matt that I had to use some wires attached to the box, in order to plant it diagonally, well he cutted those wires so it is again like a ? ) and lastly he destroyed 2 of my seedlings, was he mad with his wife? or is he simply not able to do his work excelently? well, I don't know but I won't tolerate it another time, so I will surely start to take care of my garden, I don't want to have this again so, that's my sad story, well, I hope that was it... well bye...

Re: LAWN MOWER NEEDED

Jose, sorry to hear about your trees. That has to be a horrible thing to find that others feel the need to 'work' on your trees. Why? , it makes no sense. I hope you can undo the problems, and that the loses were to relatively younger trees... not that they do not count, just they are easier to replace.... a shame!

Re: Lawn mower needed!

Well some of those gardeners could be starring in any horror movies, sort of scream, fredy or even scary movie So, I will bring home my grandpa's lawn mower, to reduce the chance of getting a gardener like those...

Re: Lawn mower needed!

Gardner story; I used to keep fifteen gallon pre bonsai in the flower bed in front of my appartment. The property managers hired new gardners to take care of the property. They pruned all of the shrubs including all of my pre bonsai. Let us say that it was not bonsai pruned. I then moved all of the trees into the back yard behind the fence so no stray gardners can get there clippers on them. Now things are better.
Do not be to angry the gardner thinks that he is doing a fine job and will not understand your being angry with him.

Re: Lawn mower needed!

I get your point, but I won't let him take care, at least of that part of the garden... not my part!!!! if I have to do it... I will...

Re: Lawn mower needed!

Jose, I understand well! I recently had to leave town for several days and the person I usually have water my bonsai was not available. He also takes care of my dog and parrot--he's a professional visit your home animal and plant sitter. Anyway, he had a fill in that I did not get to meet or show my prized plants too. The regular guy assured me he would show her what needed to be done. I worried the whole time I was gone!!

She did well, fortunately. But I don't blame you for not allowing a yard guy to get near them again.

It's a new substitute for the gym I don't have to go to the gym the day I use it...

Here am I after a hard work session, and I haven't finished yet, now I will use my scissors to remove the grass in the hard parts
