Late Night "Collector" Caught On Tape
This story was on TV the other night:
http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/news/04...tree_Thief.html This guy was digging the planted palms right out of the ground. Made me think of some collecting advise I've seen here.

Sounds like I can forget about asking Geodude to testify as to the excellence of my character at my trial.

I mentioned this story to Chase Rosade at a workshop last night.
He told us that when he was doing some landscape work on a new building for the phone company, the specifications were very detailed, and included driving a four foot long steel rod through the rootball of each tree before planting in order to make such collection a lot more difficult. |
