What a great surprise to see these pics after being away for a few days.
Got to be a nice feeling to finally "open" the doors and make that first sale.

I wish you great success in your new endeavor.

Thanks everyone for all the kind thoughts. The outpouring of well wishes, and practical help from FOC (Friends of Cindy) has been absolutely amazing! Any thoughts on the most effective use of advertising dollars would be greatly appreciated too....

As requested, some additional photos.....

Brian, congratulations and the best of luck to you and Cindy. I hope to see your nursery if I make it to the GSBF convention in SD next year.

Best Regards

Mike

PS, how's that great Pyracantha doing?

Brian, run an ad in your local bonsai clubs newsletter. Our club does not charge for bonsai related ads.

Local newspapers will do a free press release to advertise your "Grand" opening or a free demo at your nursery.

Often the Gardening section in your local newspaper will give you a plug for free.

In Michigan we have a monthly publication called "The Michigan Gardener" consider writing a monthly article for them if you have a similar publication.

Also consider being a vendor at local bonsai and garden shows.

Doing bonsai demo's at garden clubs.

Just some of what I have done here in Michigan for Telly's bonsai.

It all helps.

Hec

Brian, What a delight this must be for you. I hope your nursery becomes the next hot spot for material in the southern California area.

Tree on, Al
