A Kid In A Candy Store! "Me".

Dear All:
The fact that next month I will be turning 75, Ron Martin drove up to my home last night and opened his 12 foot trailer, and I had the same feeling when I was given a quarter and was taken into a store where they sold penny candy!

Ron was on his way to do demonstrations and workshops this weekend.

We brought some of his Brazilian Rain trees into my Tree House to give them some light and water.

While we were giving some of the trees fresh air, I took a few pictures in the fading light.

This first picture is a huge Bougainvillea with a pack of cigarettes for size.

a few more of the thick trunked Ficus Microcarpa pre Bonsai. Most of the trunks were almost 2 inches at the soil level... I did a lot of drooling.

...and the last picture is taken of the back of the trailer.

I did take out several of the trees on the right side and two trees which will not make it to Massachusettes are now sitting on my deck along with one of the Brazilian Rain Trees that were being watered.

When the light faded, Ron Buttoned up his trailer and came inside for dinner, and Bonsai chat that lasted until almost midnight.

Frankly, I didn't sleep well, since I was afraid that Ron would leave in the morning, forgetting all of the Brazilian Rain Trees under my roof.

By 8:00 am Ron was on his way north... what an exhilerating day for me

Dinner & discussion with Ron Martin. I bet people would pay for that! I'm glad you enjoyed your visitor and happy Birthday in case I don't catch you next month.
