This thread had a good run. I wish to expess my appreciation to all those that participated. Wayne said it best, "This can only be good for bonsai, so thank you also for fanning the flames of bonsai passion". In the grand scheme of things it really matters little what discussion takes place here for tomorrow may be etched in the granite of time and while we cannot see the future, we can all share in it's path.

I do hope to return to this thread in the not to distant future with a whole new outlook on future endeavers I may take.

Take care and groom your trees, Al

I decided to bump this up. I reread it and there are some very good points in it. I do think that my first post for my editorials was a very timely one in light of recent events. My emails to Wayne that went unanswered go a long ways to understanding his attitude during all this. I suspect that the buying out of Bonsai Today was in the works during my most inopportune editorial. Wayne's enthusiasim to defend his magazine was lackluster at best. Now I can see why. It was going away.

I hope that Wayne does well with Stone Lantern and continues to publish books.
Cheers, Al
